Tudjman’s Police Minister Admits Croatia Started the War by Attacking Serbs

Serbs and Yugoslavia were Under Attack, Not Croatia

In the exclusive interview, Franjo Tuđman’s Internal Affairs Minister Josip Boljkovac admitted Croat leadership carried out planned attacks on Croatia Serbs in 1991, in order to start a war. “Tuđman wanted the war at any cost, following the concept according to which Serbs must disappear from Croatia,” Boljkovac said.

Croat media censored reports from Boljkovac’s testimony at the trial against former Osijek mayor Branimir Glavaš, war criminal responsible for horrific crimes against the local Serbs, concealing parts of his testimony which charge Croatia with instigating the war.

“During the testimony, Glavaš accused me of persecuting him because he destroyed the bridge on river Drava in Osijek [Croatia]. He claimed he had destroyed the bridge to protect the town from JNA [Yugoslav National Army] tanks, and I responded that, at the time, JNA was a regular army of an internationally recognized state, while Croatia, which was not recognized, was part of Yugoslavia. Then I explained who started armed conflicts in that part of Slavonija,” Boljkovac told Frankfurt-based daily Vesti.

In a sensational interview published on February 12 and carried by the several media outlets in Serbia, Croatia’s war-time minister of police said it was the Serbs and Yugoslavia who were being attacked in 1991, and not Croatia.

“Back then, in 1991, Serbs and Yugoslavia were under attack, not Croatia. Gojko Šušak, Branimir Glavaš and Vice Vukojević launched antitank rockets on Borovo Selo in order to provoke a war. The bridge in Osijek was destroyed for the same reason,” Boljkovac said.

He explained Croat war-time leader Franjo Tudjman “wanted the war at any cost”:

“The war was not a necessity — it was an intention. According to Tudjman’s concept, Serbs had to disappear from Croatia,” Boljkovac stressed, adding he was against the war and didn’t allow Serbs who were serving in the police in Croatia to be fired which, in turn, made him a target for assassination by Croat emigration.

Boljkovac believes there was a secret “deal” between former Yugoslav and Serbian President Slobodan Milošević and Franjo Tuđman, Croatia’s war leader, “to divide Bosnia and Herzegovina and exchange the population through ethnic cleansing.” According to his theory, “Tuđman handed over Bosnian Posavina to Milošević, and Milošević helped Tuđman to get rid of Krajina Serbs”.

The Utah-Connecticut Non-connection

Several websites, including DebbieSchlussel.com, JawaReport and PipelineNews, have picked up on a connection that investigator Bill Warner made last month between the aunt of Salt Lake jihadist Sulejman Talovic — Ajka Omerovic — and an Amir Omerovic, a naturalized citizen from Bosnia, who a few years ago was convicted of sending what he threatened were anthrax-laced letters to then Connecticut Governor John C. Rowland, as well as to the U.S. Coast Guard and Marines in CT. Part of the letter, according to the NY Times, read: “This is only the beginning. Americans will die. Death to America and Israel.”

The assumption is that Omerovic is some kind of cousin of Talovic and that therefore the Talovic-Omerovic family is no stranger to jihadist activities. As of yet, it is unclear what, if any, relationship exists between Omerovic and Talovic, but there isn’t any need to look for blood relations across the country when there are plenty of jihadist activities happening much closer to home. Talovic and Omerovic need never have met for each to have independently taken up jihad.

Rather than look for distant relations, we can be reasonably sure that there’s a common denominator inside both Talovic and Omerovic — that universal Muslim sense of aggrievement and the thirst to kill which Islam satisfies.

What explains the common last name is the fact that the primitives of Bosnia arrange themselves in the same way that the primitives of Kosovo do: by clan. And not all in the clan know one another. To illustrate the loose way in which this works, let us look at the Krasniqi clan of Kosovo/Albania (the ‘q’ is pronounced ‘ch’). The most famous Krasniqi is Florin Krasniqi, a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who resides in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and who until recently was smuggling planeloads of weapons from the U.S. to Kosovo, to arm the Albanians for war against Serbia, NATO and the UN in the event that the Albanian land grab from Serbia isn’t made official by the middle of this year. Krasniqi raised $30 million from the Albanian-American community for the KLA to wage domestic terror in Yugoslavia. He was the subject of a Dutch documentary that aired on PBS in 2005, in which he admitted to having worked with bin Laden’s people.

Demonstrating just how loose the clan connection can be is the fact that Florin Krasniqi continues his KLA activities despite the murder by the KLA of an Ahmet Krasniqi (specifically, by America’s man in Kosovo — Hashim “the Snake” Thaci). From a New York Times article by Christopher Hedges:

As tensions rose, Thaci and the Albanian authorities decided to eliminate Krasniqi, according to former rebel commanders and two former Albanian officials interviewed in Tirana…On Sept. 21 at 11 P.M. on the way back from a restaurant in Tirana, Krasniqi ran into a police checkpoint about 300 yards from his office on Dibra Street, according to a former rebel commander who was with Krasniqi…

When Krasniqi and his two companions got out of their gray Opal jeep they saw three men emerge from the shadows with black hoods over their faces. The men, speaking with an Albanian accent that distinguished them from Kosovo Albanians, ordered the two men with Krasniqi to get down on the ground.

“Which one is it?” asked one of the gunmen, according to one of the commanders who was prone on the asphalt.

“The one in the middle,” said another. The gunmen, who held a pistol a few inches from Krasniqi’s head, fired a shot. He then fired two more shots into Krasniqi’s head once he fell onto the pavement…As NATO bombs fell on Kosovo this April, two more outspoken commanders, Agim Ramadani, a captain in the former Yugoslav Army, and Sali Ceku, were killed, each in an alleged Serbian ambush.

Note the last name Ceku. The assassination of Sali Ceku by the KLA didn’t keep one Agim Ceku from becoming the current, KLA-affiliated prime minister of Kosovo. To the contrary, last August Ceku praised a war criminal named Selim Krasniqi:

The Humanitarian Law Center has issued a press statement condemning Agim Ceku’s behavior in the case of Selim Krasniqi…

“Bearing in mind the fact that, on 10 August 2006, the International Trial Chamber pronounced Selim Krasniqi, Bedri Zymberi and Agron Krasniqi guilty of war crime, illegal detention and kidnapping of Albanians in the village of Drenovac (municipality of Mališevo), the Prime Minister’s visit to the convicted and temporarily released General and his statement that “Kosovo needs men like General Selim Krasniqi” sent a message to the public that certain citizens of Kosovo, such as General Selim Krasniqi, are above the law…”

(Yes, Selim Krasniqi and Agron Krasniqi probably are related.)

The Brooklyn arms smuggler Florin Krasniqi continues his KLA activities also despite the massacre of an entire Krasniqi family by the KLA. From a 2002 Der Spiegel article that’s worth reading in full (it’s not long):

A strange grave lies in the midst of a large meadow in the village of Crni Luk. There are no names on the four gravestones, and the inhabitants of [the] village of 3,000 react with distrust to questions about the dead. “This is where we buried the charred remains of the Krasniqi clan,” says a young Albanian man and adds immediately with a wave of his hand: “But I do not know more than that.”

Twenty-four Albanians were shot, among them 13 children, and their houses were burned down…The four Krasniqi brothers were considered “loyalists to the Serbian regime” and worked in Serbian companies; one of them was even [a] journalist for the Serbian language newspaper “Jedinstvo”. Under the Milosevic regime they enjoyed privileges; afterwards, this was their death sentence.

Those “privileges”, incidentally, are nothing more than the same opportunities that every other, non-secessionist citizen of the former Yugoslavia had regardless of ethnicity.

The next Krasniqi I heard about was this guy:

Detectives who investigated an Albanian couple and found they had committed a catalogue of abhorrent crimes against an 18-year-old woman have revealed the pair came to the UK in 1999 from Kosovo and one jumped the border on the back of a lorry.

Interview mit William Engdahl - Teil 1

Am 6. März führte ich ein Interview mit dem bekannten Wirtschaftsjournalisten und Buchautor William Engdahl. Ich bat ihn sein neues Buch uns vorzustellen und seine Sicht der Finanzkrise zu erklären.

Sein neuestes Werk “Der Untergang des Dollar-Imperiums” ist eine geschichtliche Aufarbeitung, wie es zur heutigen Finanzkatastrophe kam, was der Dollar für eine Rolle darin spielt und was das Schiksal der “Weltleitwährung” sein wird. Nur in dem man die Zusammenhänge und Entwicklung der letzten 100 Jahre kennt, kann man die Gründe für Weltwirtschaftskrise in der wir uns befinden verstehen.

Engdahls neuestes Buch ist der dritte Teil der Trilogie bestehend aus “Mit der Ölwaffe zur Weltmacht” und “Saat der Zerstörung”, welche im Kopp Verlag erschienen sind.

 Wie der Italienische Innenminister bei einem Anti Mafia Treffen feststellte, sind die Albaner Banden unverändert sehr aktiv in Europa, vor allem im Drogen Geschäft von Afghanistan nach Europa und in die USA, ebenso im Kokain Import nach Europa. In Italien selbst beherrschen die Albaner Banden das Drogen Geschäft und in Deutschland sind ja für jeden sichtbar die prominensten Verbrecher aus dem Kosovo und Albanien die offiziellen Politischen Partner der Steinmeier und vor allem SPD - FES Banden. Und aus rein geschäftlichen Gründen brauchte die Steinmeier Bande auch einen Rechts freien Raum in Europa um ihre Geschäfte abwickeln zu können, was jedem Bundeswehr Offizier geläufig ist, warum der Kosovo ein Staat werden sollte.

Por Maroni theksoi se nuk mbeten prapa edhe krimet e kryera nga rumunët, veçanërisht në përdhunime, si dhe nga nigerianët në shfrytëzimin dhe trafikimin e qënieve njerëzore. Fakti që organizatat shqiptare janë të specializuara për trafikimin e drogës dhe qënieve njerëzore është evidentuar edhe në raportin e fundit të drogave të përgatitur nga Departamenti Amerikan i Shtetit për Shqipërinë, ku Shqipëria mbetet vend tranzit i të gjithë drogave, si i heroinës që vjen nga Afganistani ashtu dhe i kokainës që vjen nga Amerika Latine. China wirft USA illegale Aktion in Staatsgewässern vor

Scharfe Vorwürfe nach einem Zwischenfall im Südchinesischen Meer: China beschuldigt die USA, unerlaubte Messungen vor der Insel Hainan durchzuführen. Pekings Boote bedrängten laut Pentagon ein US-Marineschiff in den Gewässern - Washington protestiert gegen das “rücksichtslose, gefährliche Manöver”.

Washington - Ein Zwischenfall im Südchinesischen Meer sorgt für diplomatischen Zündstoff. China hat den USA jetzt vorgeworfen, in den Gewässern vor der Insel Hainan illegale Vermessungsarbeiten vorgenommen zu haben. Das geht aus einer Erklärung der Botschaft Chinas in Washington hervor, die der Hongkonger Fernsehsender Phoenix Television am Dienstag auf seiner Internet-Seite veröffentlichte.

“Die US-Marine hat sich in Chinas Sonderwirtschaftszone aufgehalten, um illegale Vermessungsaktivitäten durchzuführen”, hieß es in der Stellungnahme. “China kann das nicht akzeptieren. Wir fordern die USA auf, diese grundlosen Tätigkeiten einzustellen.”

Das chinesische Außenministerium verurteilte das Vorgehen der US-Schiffe am Dienstag scharf: Die Marine habe mit ihrer Präsenz vor der Insel gegen internationales und chinesisches Recht verstoßen. Die US-Darstellung des Zwischenfalls wies Peking scharf zurück. “Die Anschuldigungen widersprechen den Fakten und sind absolut inakzeptabel für China”, sagte ein Sprecher des Außenministeriums.

“Rücksichtsloses, gefährliches Manöver”

Zuvor hatte das US-Verteidigungsministerium mitgeteilt, dass mehrere chinesische Schiffe im Südchinesischen Meer ein Schiff der US-Marine bedrängt hätten. Das Ministerium sprach von einem “rücksichtslosen, gefährlichen Manöver”. Fünf chinesische Boote, darunter auch ein Marineaufklärer, sollen der “USNS Impeccable” am Sonntag gefährlich nahe gekommen sein und das US-Schiff zum Verlassen der Gewässer aufgefordert haben.Laut Darstellung des Pentagon war die “USNS Impeccable” in angemessenem Abstand rund 120 Kilometer vor der Insel Hainan unterwegs, als sich dem Aufklärer chinesische Schiffe bis auf 15 Meter genähert hätten. US-Chinese Anti-Submarine Cat and Mouse Game in South China Sea

The Chinese military harassment of a U.S. submarine surveillance vessel Sunday occurred only 75 miles from China’s growing naval base near Yulin on Hainan Island.

The incident that unfolded in the South China Sea Sunday, where the U.S. Navy says five Chinese ships harassed the U.S. submarine surveillance vessel USNS Impeccable, appears to be part of a wider and dangerous cat and mouse game between U.S. and Chinese submarines and their hunters.

News media reports cite Pentagon reports of half a dozen other incidents just within the past week in which U.S. surveillance vessels were “subjected to aggressive behavior, including dozens of fly-bys by Chinese Y-12 maritime surveillance aircraft.”

The latest incident allegedly occurred in international waters only 75 miles south of a budding naval base near Yulin on Hainan Island from where China has started operating new nuclear attack and ballistic missile submarines. The U.S. Navy on its part is busy collecting data on the submarines and seafloor to improve its ability to detect the submarines in peacetime and more efficiently hunt them in case of war.

USNS Impeccable (T-AGOS-23)

The USNS Impeccable was designed specifically as a platform for the SURTASS towed array and its Low Frequency Array upgrade.

An Impeccable “Civilian Crew”

The U.S. Navy’s description of the incident states that “a civilian crew mans the ship, which operates under the auspices of the Military Sealift Command.” Yet as one of five ocean surveillance ships, the USNS Impeccable (T-AGOS 23) has the important military mission of using its array of both passive and active low frequency sonar arrays to detect and track submarines. The USNS Impeccable works directly with the Navy’s fleets, and in 2007 operated with the three-carrier strike battle group in Valiant Shield 07 exercise in the Western Pacific.

USNS Impeccable is equipped with the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS), a passive linear underwater surveillance array attached to a tow cable. SURTASS was developed as a floating submarine detection system for deep waters, and the Navy wants to add an active Low Frequency Array (LFA) to improve long-range detection of submarines in shallow waters.

The SURTASS LFA passive-active surveillance system is designed to detect submarines and surface ships at long range in deep and shallow waters.

Indeed, according to the U.S. Navy, the USNS Impeccable is “designed specifically as a platform for the SURTASS towed array and its LFA adjunct.”

New Chinese Nuclear Submarines at Yulin Naval Base

Among Chinese submarines the USNS Impeccable was monitoring is probably the Shang-class (Type-093) nuclear-powered attack submarine, a new class China is building to replace the old Han-class, and which has recently been seen at the Yulin base.

Two new Shang-class (Type-093) were photographed at the naval base near Yulin on Hainan Island in mid-September 2008, the first time two Shang-class SSNs are known to have been present at the same time.

An earlier image from February 2008 showed a Jin-class (Type-094) ballistic missile submarine at the Hainan base for the first time. The Jin-class is not visible on the later image. China has been reducing its submarine fleet by replacing old boats with fewer modern ones. The submarines normally stay close to shore, but in 2008 sailed on 12 longer patrols – twice as many as in 2007.

Time For an Incident Agreement

The incident begs the question who or at what level in the Chinese government the harassment in international waters was ordered. The incident will make life harder for those in the Obama administration who want to ease the military pressure on U.S.-Chinese relations, and easier for hardliners to argue their case……………..

Der Boden des  zusammen gebrochene Hochhaus, wo es 3 Tode gab, wurde zuvor von einer nicht angemeldeten Baufirma, mit Politischen Verbindungen und auch zum Rathaus Gjorokastre, praktisch durch illegale und unkontrollierte Bagger Arbeiten unterhölt und destabilisiert. Jeder macht halt in Albanien was er will im sogenannten Bau Geschäft und baut wild durch die Gegend mit Vorliebe ohne Genehmigung und auf fremden Grundstücken.

In diesem Falle werden die Verantwortlichen von der Task Force Staatsanwaltschaft zur Rechenschaft gezogen und wegen Mordes angeklagt.

Prosecutors in the town of Gjirokastra indicted seven people on Tuesday over the collapse of an apartment building in November that left three people dead, including a young girl and four others injured. According to the indictment, construction work on a new building at the base of the hill on November 9, 2008 - where the apartment block is located - caused the collapse.

The owner of the construction company, Sotiraq Janora and the operator of the heavy equipment that was conducting the digging near the collapsed building have been charged with murder, while five other local officials were charged with abuse of power.

All of the accused have denied any wrongdoing during the arraignment hearing.

Real estate has been booming in Albania for a decade. Price increases have been fueled by strong domestic demand, availability of mortgage loans, fast-flowing remittances from family members working abroad and a strong migratory trend from rural to urban areas.

Nowhere domestically has the economic buoyancy yielded greater change than in the property market, with the construction industry accounting for 14.5 per cent of overall economic activity in 2007.

However, the fast pace of growth, coupled with weak state institutions and corruption, has reduced oversight on constriction sites.

The local office of the watchdog group Transparency International stated after the collapse that the incident was the result of lack of regulations and weak enforcement of existing rules in the construction industry because of corruption.

The local media reported that the inhabitants of the collapsed building had continually complained about the construction and had even had filed a law suit against the developers of the new building.
