Montenegro Takes Key NATO Step

05 November 2008 Brussels_ Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic has given the NATO Secretary General the country’s application to join the alliance’s Membership Action Plan.

Djukanovic hopes that NATO can positively respond to this evaluation by spring next year, at latest during the alliance’s summit, which will be held in French-German border twin towns of Strasbourg and Kehl.

“The NATO Secretary General promised that he and his associates will very seriously evaluate our initiative,” Djukanovic said after the meeting.

“He also told us that NATO doesn’t have ‘enlargement fatigue,’” he added.

The Membership Action Plan is a NATO programme of advice, assistance and practical support tailored to the individual needs of countries wishing to join the alliance. Once a country applies it is up to alliance’s member states to decide how to respond to the application.

Montenegrin officials are hopeful they will have positive response to this application.

According to Djukanovic, this is “a logical initiative of Montenegrin side”, for further integration of the country.

“The final response depends on the discussions within allies,” Djukanovic stressed.

“There is no doubt that NATO wants new members and it sees Montenegro as its future member.”

In September, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro were invited to join a group of countries seeking membership in the NATO alliance. Read more: http://balkaninsight.com/en/main/news/13465

One Bid Placed for Serbia’s Hotel Complex

05 November 2008 Belgrade _ Serbia’s Privatisation agency has announced that a single bidder has offered to purchase the Internacional CG hotel complex at the Kopaonik ski resort in Serbia’s southwest.

In a statement the agency said that a consortium comprised of Serbia’s MK Group and Austria’s Falkensteiner-Michaeler has qualified for the offer.

In July, the agency launched its second attempt to sell the Kopaonik complex, 220 kilometres south of Belgrade. The asking price for the hotel was €23 million, nearly 50 lower than the original asking price.

The bid included the Grand Hotel Suncani Vrhovi, the apartment complex Konaci, a restaurant and flats.

Internacional CG complex was previously owned by the now bankrupt Genex, a former top exporter and tour operator in the former Yugoslavia.

Une ndihem sikur qendroj perkrah bashkeqytetareve te mi dhe ne po prekim doren e Zotit”, perfundoi Withers. Die Albaner waren immer gegen die Bush Regierung und ebenso gegen die Vertreter der Allbright Mafia, insbesondere gegen den in Albanien verstorbenen US Botschafter Josef Limprecht, der persönlich Heroin im Durres Hafen abholte und zur Verteilung nach Peskopje fuhr, wo er sich nicht nur von jungen Sex Sklavinnen in UCK Terror Camps bedienen liess, sondern auch derartige Vergnügen zu seinem Tod Mitte Mai 2002 führte bei seinen Islamischen Terror Freunden. Und gerade diese Verbindungen zur Albaner Mafia wird vom Albanischen Volke massiv verurteilt, und das NATO Politiker hoch kriminelle Banden an die Macht brachten in Albanien und im Kosovo.
