Greqi, ne pranga 5 shqiptaret e “bandes se kallashnikovëve”. » Dërguar më: 28/11/2007 - 16:51

• Nje bande prej 5 shqiptaresh ne Selanik te Greqise ka rene ne duart e policise greke. Ne nje kamion atyre iu gjeten nje sasi e konsiderueshme droge si dhe nje arsenal i vertete armesh.

Te 5 shqiptaret dyshohen gjithashtu si autore te 36 grabitjeve mes te cilave banka dhe supermarkete. Ne Greqi kjo cilesohej edhe si banda e kallashnikoveve. Eshte nje nga lajmet qe mediat greke transmetuan gjate dites se djeshme duke trumbetuar nje arritje te rendesishme te policise greke. Cdo gje ka filluar nga arrestimi i nje 29- vjecari shqiptar para nje jave. Pasi eshte gjurmuar per disa dite, i jane hedhur prangat ne daten 21 Nentor duke shitur 107 gram heroine, ne nje lagje ne periferi te Selanikut. Pas arrestimit policet greke kane filluan hetimet ne shtepine e trafikantit ne lagjen Evangjelistria te Selanikut, ku u arrestuan edhe 4 persona te tjere, te gjithe shqiptare, nje prej te cileve eshte edhe vellai i 29-vjecarit. Asnje prej te arrestuarve nuk dispononte ndonje dokument te ligjshem.

Gjate hetimeve ne shtepi u gjeten dhe u konfiskuan nje pistolete, te cilen njeri prej te arrestuarve tentoi ta perdorte, por nderhyrja e shpejte e forcave speciale shmangu nje plagosje te mundeshme, dy bomba dore, 4000 euro, dy telefona celulare, ndersa ne kopshtin e shtepise u gjet nje motociklete e vjedhur disa dite me pare. Pas fillimit te hetimeve ne rajonin e policise u zbuluan edhe arme te tjera te fshehura ne disa vende afer rruges periferike te Selanikut, vecse disa qindera metra nga shtepia ku ata banonin, ku u gjeten 2 kallashnikove dhe tre karrikatore.

Dy dite me pare duket se sipas pohimeve te 29 vjecarit shqiptar, emri i te cilit ashtu si edhe i 4 personave te tjere nuk publikohet ende ,u gjeten edhe arme te tjera ne pyllin e Selanikut te quajtur Sheih- Shu,perseri prane shtepise ku ata banonin, nje pistolete dy karikatore, 14 shkrepesa elektronike dhe pese mekanizma shkrepes bombash. Sipas pohimeve te tjera te keqberesit shqiptar para dhjete ditesh ai kishte shitur tre kallashnikove, 18 shkrepes elektronike, 6 mekanizma shkrepes, 8 karrikatore, 317 fisheke, 2 bomba dore dhe nje sasi teper te madhe lende eksplozive.

Gjithashtu sipas deshmive te 29 vjecarit qe duket se eshte edhe kreu i bandes ai dhe shoket e tij kishin kryer 39 vjedhje ne zona te ndryshme te Greqise.

-9 vjedhje ne banka te Athines, Ahaias dhe Viotias.
-10 vjedhje ne zyrat e postes se Athines Selanikut dhe Halkidhikise.
-15 vjedhje ne supermarketet e Athines ,Selanikut dhe Viotise dhe disa te tjera ne qytetet e Katerines dhe Verias.Sipas deklarates per shtyp te policise 29 vjecari eshte i shumekerkuar, ndaj tij kishte urdher ndalimi per hyrjen ne Greqi dhe ne vendet e zones se Shengenit, si dhe urdher arresti dhe burgimi per arsye se ishte i denuar me disa vjet burg nga nje gjykate e Trakes. Ndaj 4 te arrestuarve te tjere u dhane urdherarrestet dhe te gjithe jane cuar ne burgun e Dhiavatase se Selanikut .Sipas policise hetimi vazhdon.

OSCE Mission brings Kosovo and Serbian institutions together to promote solutions to displacement

PRISTINA, 28 November 2007 - Money must be made available to the Kosovo Property Agency so that it can carry out property restitution, the legal and institutional framework must be updated to accommodate the needs of displaced persons and better co-operation is needed between the Republic of Serbia and Kosovo’s Provisional Institutions of Self-Government (PISG).

Those were some of the conclusions of a conference co-organized by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo to discuss new solutions to problem of displaced persons, which remain a challenge eight years after the conflict.

“Effective restoration of property rights requires de-politicisation. The violation of property rights affects all communities in Kosovo - Albanian, Serb, Roma, Ashkaeli and Egyptian,” said Norbert Pijls, Head of the Decentralization Division at the OSCE Mission.

“The political representatives of all these communities have the moral and legal obligation to refrain from interfering in the restoration of property rights through intimidation or undue pressures. Individuals have the right to peacefully access, use and, if they want, freely sell their properties.”

The two-day conference, which ended yesterday in Pristina, was organized in co-operation with the PISG Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and the Spanish NGO Movement for Peace.

Conference participants agreed that better enforcement is needed, as a decision on a building is not worth anything if it is not adequately enforced, or if the house is looted or occupied once again after enforcement takes place.

“Nowadays, the need of legal assistance to facilitate the access to property rights is the most common legal problem of those displaced persons coming to our offices,” said Fermin Cordoba, Legal Coordinator for Movement for Peace.

………. The recommendations of the conference will be forwarded to the new Kosovo Assembly and published into a “Handbook on Property Restitution and Solutions to Displacement in Kosovo”.

Greek Orthodox Church sues Turkey for discrimination in property dispute

STRASBOURG, France — The top European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg held the first session of a trial Tuesday (November 27th) that pits the Greek Orthodox Church against Turkey for discrimination and violation of property rights. The Greek Patriarchate decided to sue after Ankara deprived it of control of an orphanage on Turkish soil. The Patriarchate claims it has owned the facility since 1902, when the country was part of the Ottoman Empire. The property, on Buyukada Island in the Marmara Sea, was taken over by Turkey in 1997. The Greek (Rum/Rôméic) orphanage in Büyükada (Prinkipo) the largest of
the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, is an imposing 8-story
Levantine building (the largest timber frame in the world). Built
originally as a hotel by the renowned French architect Alexandre
Vallaury in the 1890s, it was subsequently bought [on May 21, 1903] and
donated to the Patriarchate by Hélène Zafiropoulo-Zarifi, wife of
Georges [Iannis] Zarifi, Banker to the Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid ll,
with the stipulation to be used as the Greek Orphans's Dormitory. Her
father together with her husband were co-founders of Zafiropoulo &
Zarifi (Z&Z). The Zarifi family was a great benefactor to the Greek
communities in Constantinople and Philippoupolis.

It is estimated that in the 1920s the number of children accommodated in
the orphanage was well in excess of one thousand.  In 1942 the
Heybeliada (Halki) Girls’ Orphanage was closed and the girls were
relocated to Prinkipo. In the 1960s the number of children sheltered in
the Prinkipo Orphanage was reduced to approximately 200. Sadly, since
the 1970s and due to an intractable dispute between the Patriarchate and
the State Foundations council (Vakif), the building is presently
derelict, in a deplorable state and in imminent danger of arson and
